People Spark Consulting was founded in 2018 by Kristen Ireland and Erin Mies. Kristen and Erin took their 35+ years experience of working in human resources to support and create meaningful results for small- and mid-sized businesses across the United States.

Kristen and Erin's approach to human resources practices is one that is straightforward and practical. They advise clients to always start with the end in mind in order to find the right behaviors and solutions to get there. They do this through their work conducting HR Assessments and leading strategic projects for businesses, and through skill-building and leadership development - for business owners, and for supervisors and managers.

In 2020, People Spark took their experience as recruiters and career consultants, along with their work in building hiring practices for businesses, to launch Light Your Own Way, a program designed to provide this same straightforward, practical feedback to job seekers to get their stories told effectively through their resumes and interviews.
